365 days later - 2018 year in Review!

I try to write up a ‘Year in Review’ post each year, as a way of looking back and reflecting on how many wonderful things can happen in just 365 days! Some years certainly have more 'major' moments than others but even the small moments and achievements should still be celebrated. 2018 has been an AMAZING year for Tails of Time Pet Photography. I have been blown away by the support and encouragement from my friends, family, and of course my clients. I am beyond thankful for returning clients, their referrals and all the new clients I've had the pleasure of meeting this year.

Each year just gets better and better and I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings for Tails of Time!

While I admit the start of the year was not so great, with a terrible diagnosis for Kokoda, it did lead us to one of the coolest adventures we've had. It was something I had put in the 'someday' basket - a trip to the snow! Read more about our adventure here. More importantly, it's almost been an entire year, and he is doing fabulously.

My artwork went up in the Pawfect Health and Wellness Vet Clinic. I may be bias, but it's definitely the prettiest clinic. The acrylic of Dexter is the largest piece I have ever ordered so much so that it only just fit in my car!

To celebrate QLD Small Business Week, I worked with some monumental little businesses to learn their stories for my Behind the Business features. You can read them here. I'm going to brag a little bit, but two of them now collaborate because of those features! I also got to create some gorgeous custom imagery for some pet brands, pet charities and a council campaign!

I met a whole bunch of equally dog crazy people and their pups at all of the events I went to throughout the year: Million Paws Walk, Day for Duke, Old Petrie Town Pet Expo, Paws at the Park, The Dachshund Christmas Party and of course the Dog Lovers Show!

And of course client sessions! Including my first few (of hopefully many) equine sessions. Here are just a few of my favourite images from the year!

And thats a wrap for 2018! Thank you to each and every client that chose me as their pet photographer this year.

Happy Holidays to anyone who has made it this far down this post!
