Olivia and her horse Indie

Earlier this year I approached Pet Acutherapy to offer a photo session for one of their sponsored riders- that was Olivia and her horse Indie- a gorgeous duo who compete together in dressage. Like most of my shoots booked for earlier in the year we had to deal with multiple reschedules due to the never-ending rain! We persisted with multiple reschedules, new dates, finally landing a sunny day at the end of April.

Well, good things come to those who wait! The weather was absolutely phenomenal. Unlike dogs, horses aren't quite as easy to transport, so I tend to come to them rather than adventuring to a new location. Luckily for me, Indie lives on the most gorgeous property.

We started off in the lower paddock. Lined with trees that perfectly filtered the afternoon sunlight, before moving up towards their stunning tree lined driveway. Olivia also owns two Great Danes, Kaos and Mischief. Naturally, I couldn't resist getting a shot of the entire family!
