Given he is the cover star of the month for my Facebook page, I thought it would be fitting to share a bit more with you all. I first met Hannah and her Dachshund Johnson at the Old Petrie Town Pet Expo. Whilst she was perusing my stand, he snuck under my table and tried stealing the used peppermint teabag from my empty cup. I knew he was a total character from our very brief meeting and I just knew he would be fun to work with!
I wasn't wrong there. We met for our session one sunny winters afternoon. Though it was hard to believe it wasn't summer- the weather was absolutely perfect. Look at that sunshine!
As you can see, it didn't take too long for Johnson to get the hang of modelling. Though this wasn't surprising, he does have his own instagram account after all! (@johnson_the_snag if anyone is interested.) And a great love of snacks. Definitely a fan of the snacks that I had in my 'bag of fun.'
Hannah chose to get some images on acrylic float blocks, as well as a fine art print of her little man. So she will have gorgeous images to treasure for a lifetime. They were absolutely stunning. I loved the results so much, that even I had to have some for myself. Johnson is now the new sample piece for my custom made Storyboard frames.
