The Photographers Dog

Updated: Nov 21, 2019

Do you know the saying "the shoemakers children never have shoes?" As a photographer, I am a little bit like that.

I used to take photos of my pets posing all the time, but after a while, despite the treats, my pets got sick of it, and rather good at protesting. Mainly with death stares and looks of utter disgust. Since then, I've gone to the other extreme, and I rarely take photos of my own dogs now. Between their protesting, having other sessions to shoot and edit, and having to lug my camera around while wrangling 4 dogs, its just easier not to bring it along when I am taking them somewhere. Believe me, I know more than anyone the importance of photos. So, I am following my own advice to you all about preserving memories and have been working on getting more photos that show them exactly as they are.

A little crazy, very cute and lots of fun.

So here are a few photos of them just being them!
