Sunny had her time in the spotlight for her Signature Session. Sunny's owner chose to have her shoot at Kedron Brook, because as you will soon see, she is quite the water baby and loves to swim!

Sunny's owner didn't want to appear in the images, but rather wanted images of her doing what she does best- looking beautiful, and swimming! Mainly because being a black dog, it can often be hard to get expression and detail in their fur- leaving them looking like 'black blobs.' This is a comment I hear often from owners with black dogs. We actually started at an alternate location, so we could get a few images of Sunny in front of this old Roller Skating rink. I drive past this location often, and just love the graffiti on its walls. They make a perfect backdrop to images, and create wall art with a difference.

After spending some time gobbling treats and posing like a professional model, we jumped in the car and headed to Kedron Brook. As soon as she got out of the car Sunny was on high alert. It didn't take Sunny long at all to see the water, and once she had, she was off! Thankfully the weather was nice, and the water was warm. Not that cold water would deter Sunny, but I ended up almost as wet as she was by the end of it all.

I loved this one, because it reminded me of the Loch Ness Monster. Sunny was not afraid to completely dunk her head under water after her ball!
